Many folks still know us by one of our former names: Carter & Company Insurance Agency or Home Town Insurance Agency.
Carter & Company Insurance Agency is the oldest agency in Lincolnton, serving Lincolnton and Lincoln County for over 75 years (1926 - 2001).
Home Town Insurance Agency, founded by William Heafner in 1993, purchased Carter & Company Insurance Agency from Bill Carter shortly before his death in 1996. The agencies continued to operate independently until 2000 when the merging of the two agencies began.
We emerged as PC Insurance Agency - "a new name for an old friend" and we are proud of our reputation for trusted service, integrity and our long history of commitment to the families of our area for many generations. We are locally owned and operated by people you've known for a long time.
